Which Tesla does the Boot Sill Protector fit?
The Tessories Boot Sill Protector fits the Model 3 (2024–2026). It is shaped to match the felt boot sill for full coverage and a clean, factory-style look.
How does the Boot Sill Protector stop scuffs on the Model 3 felt boot sill?
The Boot Sill Protector covers the felt boot sill with a layer of tough TPE, so bags, sports gear and groceries hit the protector instead of the carpet. It blocks dirt, spills and scuffs before they reach the soft felt underneath. That keeps the Model 3 boot sill looking factory-fresh, even with daily loading.
What is the Boot Sill Protector made of?
The Boot Sill Protector is made from soft, durable TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). TPE is tough enough to handle daily loading but flexible enough to follow the shape of the sill, and it suits a premium interior. Unlike the carpeted felt it covers, TPE doesn't hold onto dirt, so the sill guard stays easy to clean.
Is the Boot Sill Protector worth it if I load the boot every day?
Yes. The boot sill takes a hit every time you load bags, sports gear or groceries, and soft felt scuffs and stains quickly with daily use. The Boot Sill Protector takes those knocks instead, so frequent loading doesn't wear down the carpet. It's a simple way to keep a busy Model 3 boot looking new.
What's the difference between a boot sill protector and leaving the felt sill bare?
A bare felt sill soaks up dirt and spills and shows every scuff from loading. The Tessories Boot Sill Protector covers the carpeted sill with tough, wipe-clean TPE that takes the knocks instead. The result is a boot sill that stays clean and undamaged, with a sleek finish that blends in with the Model 3 boot.
How do you install the Boot Sill Protector, and does it need glue?
No glue, tape or tools are needed. The Boot Sill Protector has a hook-and-loop (velcro) backing that grips the felt sill firmly, so you simply press it into place by hand. It stays put through daily loading, and because there is no adhesive, nothing is left behind on the carpet.
How do you clean the Boot Sill Protector?
Just wipe it with a damp cloth. Dirt, mud and spills sit on the surface of the TPE Boot Sill Protector instead of soaking into the felt, so they come off easily. That's much simpler than scrubbing a stained carpet sill, and it keeps the Model 3 boot looking clean with very little effort.
